The process begins with degreasing, followed by a water rinse (R1). Next, the material undergoes caustic etching, succeeded by two more water rinses (R2 and R3). De-oxidizing or desmutting is performed next, followed by another series of water rinses (R4 and R5). The material is then anodized in two steps (Anodizing 1 and Anodizing 2), with subsequent water rinses (R6 and R7). Electro coloring is then carried out, followed by two more water rinses (R8 and R9). Cold sealing is the next step, followed by color dipping. Finally, the process concludes with two additional water rinses (R10 and R11).
